😷 How to make an Adjustable Adult Mask

Materials Needed:

-Breathable fabric rectangle 14 inches X 12 inches

-Rope/cord/ribbon 50 inches

-Needle and thread 

Assembly:

-Sew a one inch seam on both the 12 inch sides by folding the fabric over towards the non patterned side

- Place your cord or ribbon along one of the 14 inch sides of the fabric. Fold a 2 inch seam over the cord, pushing the cord into the outside edge of the fold. Sew along the inside edge of the seam to encase the cord, being careful not to sew over the cord itself.

-Fold cord over to the other 14 inch side and repeat step 2

- You should now have a rectangle of fabric with a free moving cord encased in two opposite side. Holding the free ends of the cords in one hand, scrunch the fabric together on either side. 

-Place the connected cord over the top of your head, resting on top of your ears, then pull the free ends tight to secure behind the neck
